• Description: Tenjaku London Dry Gin is a Japanese gin crafted with over 10 botanicals, including yuzu, peach, green tea, and Japanese pepper (sansho). Distilled in a London Dry style using water from the Mount Fuji basin, it aims for a mellow and polished spirit that blends traditional gin elements with distinct Japanese flavors. It has a mixed base of grain and cane spirit. Bottling strengths vary, with some at 37.5% ABV and others at 43% ABV.

• Tasting Notes:

  • Aroma: Features a distinctive yet subtle yuzu note alongside honey, juniper, and a creamy richness. Hints of peach also contribute a fruity element.   
  • Palate: Slightly more spice-forward than the aroma, with initial low notes of star anise and fennel. Mid-palate brings citrus with pepper and orange notes, transitioning to Seville orange and jasmine tea later.  
  • Finish: Juniper becomes more pronounced on the finish, balanced by pine, coriander, and a dry sansho pepper note. The texture is smooth with little to no astringency. Some detect a slightly sweet and peppery character with zesty citrus notes and a cool, refreshing finish.
