Siete Misterios Mezcal Espadín Tepeztate is an artisanal ensamble mezcal crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico, blending Espadín (Agave angustifolia) and wild Tepeztate (Agave marmorata) agaves. The Tepeztate agave, known for its rarity and growth on steep, rocky cliffs, takes up to 25 years to mature, contributing to the mezcal's complex flavor profile. Traditional production methods are employed: agaves are roasted in earthen ovens, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. This meticulous process results in a mezcal bottled at 44–45% ABV, offering a harmonious balance of flavors.
