Siete Misterios Mezcal Espadín Mexicanito

Siete Misterios Mezcal Espadín Mexicanito is an artisanal ensamble mezcal from Sola de Vega, Oaxaca, blending Espadín and Mexicanito agaves. The Mexicanito agave thrives in the foothills of pine-oak forests from Sonora to Oaxaca, benefiting from nutrient-rich soils that contribute to its impressive size and unique flavor profile. Traditional production methods are employed: agaves are roasted in earthen ovens, hand-milled in Sabino wood canoes, naturally fermented in wooden vats with wild yeasts and spring water, and double-distilled in clay pot stills. This meticulous process results in a mezcal bottled at 44% ABV, offering a harmonious balance of flavors. 

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Aromatic blend of fresh papaya, banana, mango, and soursop, complemented by herbal highlights, cooked agave, piloncillo, smoked wood, and wet earth. 

• Palate: Soft and fragrant with notes of citrus and walnut, featuring a remarkably long, aromatic finish. 

• Finish: Long and aromatic, leaving a lasting impression with its balanced profile.
