LAYA Anejo Crystal Tequila

Laya Añejo Cristalino Tequila is an ultra-premium spirit made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, born in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico. This tequila undergoes an aging process of 18 months in American white oak barrels. Following aging, it is filtered to remove the color, resulting in a crystalline appearance while retaining the complex flavors acquired during maturation. Laya emphasizes organic production and is certified organic and kosher.   

Tasting Notes:

• Appearance: Crystalline with light golden flashes.   
• Aroma: Features a refreshing aroma with cooked agave, subtle spice, low chocolate notes, vanilla, banana, a hint of mint, and balanced nutty undertones. Some describe it as predominantly spicy (black pepper) with cooked agave and slight cinnamon.
• Palate: Described as extremely rich and very balanced in flavor. Expect predominantly spicy (black pepper) notes, cooked agave, slight cinnamon, vanilla, and a touch of astringency with light wood.
• Finish: Quite rich with a lovely smooth texture.

Awards: Laya Añejo Cristalino Tequila received a Silver Medal at the 2024 Latin American World Spirits Competition.
