The Lagavulin Offerman Edition Caribbean Rum Cask Finish is the fourth collaboration between actor Nick Offerman and the renowned Islay distillery. This limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky is aged for 11 years and finished for an additional 8 months in ex-Caribbean rum casks. The result is a harmonious blend of Lagavulin's signature peaty character with the tropical sweetness imparted by the rum casks. Bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof), this expression offers a unique twist on the classic Islay profile, making it approachable for both peat enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: A captivating mix of chili peppers, charred citrus rind, freshly fired crème brûlée, browned butter, and tart au citron. 

• Palate: Smooth and creamy with notes of grilled pineapple, caramelized banana, lemon, caramel, and honey, all balanced by a subtle peat smoke reminiscent of wood-smoked barbecue. 

• Finish: A peppery lemon zest that transitions into a wave of caramel and gentle peat smoke, leaving a lingering sweet and smoky aftertaste.
