Domaine Tariquet VSOP is a Bas-Armagnac from the Château du Tariquet estate. Aged longer than their VS (minimum 4 years, often averaging closer to 7), this 80 proof (40% ABV) Armagnac shows developing complexity with notes of baked fruit, vanilla, spice, and integrated oak, retaining the estate's signature elegance.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A rich bouquet featuring notes of baked apple, pear tart, and dried apricot, interwoven with vanilla bean, caramel, toasted bread, and hints of baking spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. A subtle floral lift and perhaps an early hint of earthy character may be present.
• Palate: Smooth and rounded with a medium body. Flavors of vanilla custard, baked orchard fruits, and light brown sugar are balanced by warming spice notes and well-integrated oak tannins. Shows a clear step up in depth and complexity from the VS.
• Finish: Pleasantly long and smooth, with lingering warmth and notes of vanilla, baked fruit, gentle spice, and a touch of toasted oak.
