The highly anticipated Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2024 release is a distinguished 12-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled at a robust 107 proof (53.5% ABV). This annual limited edition honors Old Forester founder George Garvin Brown's birthday on September 2nd.

Hand-selected by Master Distiller Emeritus Chris Morris, Master Taster Melissa Rift, and Assistant Master Distiller Caleb Trigo, this year's expression was crafted from 209 carefully chosen barrels aged in Warehouses G and L.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: A bright and inviting medley of apricot and apple, complemented by rich spice cake, buttercream icing, and subtle undertones of sweet tobacco and warm oak. Hints of brown sugar, toffee, honey-roasted peanuts, and a touch of waffle cone and ginger snap cookies also emerge.
  • Taste: Juicy fruits lead the palate, followed by toasted oak and warm cinnamon spice. Expect notes of honey, buttercream, nougat, and butterscotch, with a full-bodied and warming presence.
  • Finish: A long and satisfying finish, with hints of caramel apple, a flavorful mix of sweet tobacco, ground cinnamon, and cacao. Notes of fudge, cola, coffee, and toffee also linger.

Order Processing:
All in-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Special order items or products not currently in stock may require additional processing time. You will be notified via email if any delays are expected with your order.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.

Damaged Shipments:
If your order arrives damaged or broken, please contact our customer service team immediately to report the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
