Ardbeg 10 Year Old is the cornerstone expression of the Ardbeg distillery and a benchmark Islay single malt whisky. Revered by peat lovers worldwide, it's matured for a minimum of ten years, primarily in first and second-fill ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered to retain its full flavour and texture.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Intense aromas of peat smoke, tar, and sea spray mingle with distinct notes of zesty lime and lemon peel, dark chocolate, black pepper, and underlying vanilla sweetness. Hints of smoked fish and menthol add further layers.
• Palate: Powerful peat smoke explodes on the palate, accompanied by flavours of ash, brine, and black pepper. This intensity is beautifully balanced by a natural sweetness reminiscent of vanilla, toasted marshmallow, and zesty citrus (lime). Notes of espresso bitterness and liquorice emerge with time.
• Finish: Long, smoky, and satisfyingly complex. Lingering notes of peat smoke, tar, citrus zest, black coffee, and a characteristic Islay salinity fade slowly, leaving a lasting impression of balanced intensity.
