Black Velvet 10 Year Canadian Reserve Select Stock Whisky: Time-Honored Smoothness and Depth

Experience the pinnacle of everyday Canadian whisky with Black Velvet 10 Year Canadian Reserve Select Stock Whisky. This distinguished expression builds upon Black Velvet's legacy of exceptional smoothness, offering a more refined and complex profile thanks to an extended decade of maturation in oak barrels.

Black Velvet is renowned for its unique "blended at birth" process, where the individual grain whiskies (primarily corn and rye) are blended before being aged in oak casks. For this "Reserve Select Stock" offering, the whisky is patiently aged for a full 10 years in quality oak barrels at the Black Velvet Distillery in Canada. This prolonged aging allows the spirit to mellow significantly, developing deeper layers of flavor and a remarkably velvety texture that lives up to its name. The interaction with the oak over a decade imparts rich notes of caramel, vanilla, and subtle oak, creating a well-rounded and harmonious profile. Bottled at a versatile 40% ABV (80 Proof), Black Velvet 10 Year Canadian Reserve Select Stock is a testament to time and craftsmanship, perfect for sipping neat or elevating your favorite whisky cocktails.

Key Characteristics:

  • 10-Year Age Statement: Aged for a full decade in oak barrels, resulting in enhanced smoothness and depth.

  • Versatile Proof (40% ABV / 80 Proof): Ideal for enjoying neat, on the rocks, or as a sophisticated mixer in cocktails.
