Caorunn dry gin highland strength

Caorunn Highland Strength Gin is a bolder expression of the original Caorunn Dry Gin, bottled at a higher 54% ABV. It retains the same unique blend of eleven botanicals, including the five locally foraged Celtic botanicals from the Scottish Highlands:   

• Rowan Berry: Provides a slightly bitter and piquant note.
• Heather: Adds a soft, sweet, and slightly resinous aroma with honeyed undertones.
• Coul Blush Apple: Contributes a sweet and aromatic fruitiness.   
• Dandelion: Offers a unique aromatic freshness.   
• Bog Myrtle: Lends a subtle sweet and earthy aroma.

These are combined with six traditional gin botanicals:

Juniper

Lemon Peel   

Coriander Seed   

Cassia Bark   

Orange Peel   

Angelica Root

Tasting Notes:

• Aroma: The aroma is described as almost minty fresh, with the juniper balanced by fragrant and herbal notes.   
• Palate: On the palate, it's peppery and fruity, with a distinct blast of juniper and underlying herbaceousness with pleasing green notes.   
• Finish: It has a luxurious mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Some describe it as having a fresh grassiness and a touch of dried herbs.   

Overall Impression:

Caorunn Highland Strength is designed to be a more intense and flavorful gin, with the higher ABV amplifying the botanical notes. It's often recommended for cocktails as the bolder flavor stands up well to mixers. The higher strength also brings out a stronger juniper character and herbaceous notes compared to the classic Caorunn Dry Gin.

Order Processing:
All in-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Special order items or products not currently in stock may require additional processing time. You will be notified via email if any delays are expected with your order.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.

Damaged Shipments:
If your order arrives damaged or broken, please contact our customer service team immediately to report the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
