Azunia Blanco Organic Tequila

The Azunia Blanco Organic Tequila is an un-aged tequila made from 100% USDA-certified organic Weber Blue Agave. The agave is grown in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico. Azunia prides itself on its traditional production methods and commitment to organic and sustainable practices.  

Production Process:

• Agave Sourcing: 100% organic Weber Blue Agave harvested by hand from their dedicated fields in the Tequila Valley.   
• Cooking: The piñas (agave hearts) are roasted for approximately 36 hours in traditional clay hornos (ovens).   
• Extraction: The cooked agave is crushed using a roller mill to extract the juice.
• Fermentation: The juice is fermented naturally in open-air vats using wild-borne yeast, a process that can take 5-7 days. No commercial yeasts or accelerators are used.   
• Distillation: The fermented liquid is double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills. The "heads" and "tails" (undesirable parts of the distillate) are cut and discarded during the second distillation.   
• Water Source: Deep well water, naturally filtered through volcanic rock from their property, is used.   
• Filtration: The tequila undergoes charcoal filtration.   
• Aging: As a Blanco tequila, it is un-aged and bottled shortly after distillation.   

Tasting Notes:

• Appearance: Clear and bright, often described as having a brilliant clarity.   
• Nose: Clean and fresh with prominent notes of cooked agave. Hints of citrus (lemon, lime), subtle floral undertones, and a touch of pepper are often present. Some also detect mineral or earthy notes.   
• Palate: Crisp and smooth with a vibrant agave flavor. The citrus notes from the aroma carry through to the palate, accompanied by a subtle peppery spice. Some reviewers note a slight sweetness and herbal nuances.   
• Finish: Clean and refreshing with a gentle sweetness and lingering citrus and light pepper notes.

Order Processing:
All in-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Special order items or products not currently in stock may require additional processing time. You will be notified via email if any delays are expected with your order.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.

Damaged Shipments:
If your order arrives damaged or broken, please contact our customer service team immediately to report the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
