 Tasting Notes

• Nose: Aromatic mulled wine with red fruits, complemented by gentle clove spice.

• Palate: The initial red fruit notes evolve into dark fruits, featuring blackberry compote and fig jam, with a hint of cracked black pepper.

• Finish: A rich conclusion with flavors of glazed cinnamon bun and glacé cherries, offering a sweet and spicy finish.

These tasting notes reflect the influence of Amarone red wine casks, which impart vibrant fruit character, balanced with the sweetness of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

🎨 Artistic Collaboration

The 2024 release features packaging designed by artist Babs Pease, known for her linocut prints inspired by the flora, fauna, and landscapes of the Fife coast. Her artwork for this edition depicts University of St Andrews students in red gowns, the cathedral, and the harbour village, capturing the essence of the local scenery.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.
