Description: Highland Park Valfather is the third and final release in the distillery's "Viking Legend" series, created in collaboration with Danish designer Jim Lyngvild. Named after Odin, the mightiest of the Norse gods, Valfather is notable for being the most heavily peated release from Highland Park to date. To balance this intense peat influence, the whisky is matured exclusively in refill casks. This expression is bottled at 47% ABV.   

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Expect a robust yet refined smoky aroma initially, followed by delicate vanilla, juicy apples, sweet pears, and a heady floral richness. Hints of cedarwood, honeycomb, spice (black pepper and nutmeg), and salted caramel can also emerge, with the signature heathery peat smoke and a sprightly sea breeze developing over time.
• Palate: The palate is described as simultaneously huge and elegant, with beautifully integrated layers of creamy vanilla, apricot yogurt, and crème brûlée. These sweet notes interplay with incense burners, iron, salted almonds, bitter orange marmalade, charred wood, and dried earth, along with touches of cacao powder, toffee apples, and smoked paprika.
• Finish: The finish is long and confident, with the floral smoke lingering alongside tropical fruit and black pepper.

Order Processing:
All in-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Special order items or products not currently in stock may require additional processing time. You will be notified via email if any delays are expected with your order.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.

Damaged Shipments:
