Rudo Añejo Tequila is a 100% Weber Blue Agave tequila inspired by the "Rudo" character in Lucha Libre, the brawler and rule-breaker of Mexican wrestling. It is double-distilled and aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels that were previously used in bourbon production. This aging process aims to impart a rich and smooth character with notes of the barrel.

Tasting Notes:

  • Aroma: Often features aromas of toffee, vanilla, and pepper spice. Some also detect praline, clove, and cooked agave.
  • Palate: The entry is sometimes described as fruity with notes of white raisins and dried pineapple, leading to a spicy, piquant, and minerally midpalate. You can also expect flavors of caramel, cacao, and roasted agave.
  • Finish: The finish is generally spicy and long-lasting, with lingering notes of vanilla, fruit, and spice. Some describe it as silky smooth and elegant.

Awards: Rudo Añejo Tequila has received recognition for its quality:

  • Gold Medal at the Spirits of Mexico competition in 2013.
  • Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2015.

This Añejo tequila is intended to be a smooth sipping tequila, best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in premium cocktails, embodying the bold spirit of its Lucha Libre namesake.

Order Processing:
All in-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Special order items or products not currently in stock may require additional processing time. You will be notified via email if any delays are expected with your order.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.

Damaged Shipments:
If your order arrives damaged or broken, please contact our customer service team immediately to report the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
