Komos Extra Anejo Tequila

Komos Extra Añejo Tequila is the pinnacle of the Komos range, a luxury, ultra-premium tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, hand-harvested from the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco. The piñas are roasted in traditional stone ovens, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. This expression undergoes an extended aging period, typically over three years, in a combination of French oak white wine barrels and American oak whiskey barrels. This prolonged maturation imparts exceptional depth, complexity, and smoothness. Like other Komos tequilas, it benefits from gentle aeration to enhance its texture and richness. It is presented in a distinctive, handmade opaque black ceramic bottle designed for upcycling.  

Tasting Notes:

• Aroma: A rich and complex bouquet featuring pronounced notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted nuts, layered with hints of dark chocolate, dried fruit (like fig or date), and warm spices such as cinnamon and clove. The extended aging contributes a significant oak influence.  
• Palate: Exceptionally smooth and full-bodied, with a harmonious marriage of sweet cooked agave, intense oak character, and warm spice. Expect flavors of toffee, butterscotch, dark chocolate, dried fruit, and possibly subtle notes of tobacco or leather. The whiskey barrel aging may contribute a gentle bourbon-like warmth.  
• Finish: Very long and luxurious, with a warm and lingering finish that echoes the sweet and spicy notes, often with a pronounced oak presence and a velvety texture.

At Bottles2Gift.com, we strive to ensure that your order is processed and shipped in a timely and orderly manner. Please review the following guidelines to understand our shipping procedures and policies.

Order Processing:
All in-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Special order items or products not currently in stock may require additional processing time. You will be notified via email if any delays are expected with your order.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.

Damaged Shipments:
If your order arrives damaged or broken, please contact our customer service team immediately to report the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
