Product Description:

Booker's Rye Limited Edition is a rare and highly acclaimed rye whiskey from the esteemed Booker's Bourbon collection, known for its uncut, unfiltered, and barrel-proof releases. This rye is a departure from the traditional bourbon releases that Booker's is known for, offering a unique expression of high-quality rye.

This limited edition release showcases the bold and robust character of rye whiskey, bottled at its natural barrel proof, allowing enthusiasts to experience the whiskey in its purest form. It's crafted using a high-rye mash bill, resulting in a spicy and complex flavor profile. As with all Booker's releases, each batch is unique, reflecting the individual characteristics of the barrels selected by Master Distiller Freddie Noe.

Tasting Notes (Note: These can vary due to the barrel-proof nature):

Appearance: Rich amber or copper color, reflecting its uncut and unfiltered nature.
Nose: Intense aromas of rye spice, including black pepper, cinnamon, and clove. There are also notes of caramel, vanilla, dark fruit (such as cherries or plums), and a hint of mint. The high proof amplifies the aromas, making them bold and expressive.
Palate: Full-bodied and robust with a powerful rye spice presence. Caramel, vanilla, and dark fruit are balanced by the peppery spice and a hint of oak. The high proof delivers a warm, fiery sensation that is characteristic of barrel-proof whiskeys.
Finish: Long and lingering with a warm, spicy finish. The rye spice and oak notes fade slowly, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of caramel, dark fruit, and a hint of mint.
