Papa's Pilar 24 Year Solera Blended Dark Rum

Papa's Pilar Dark Rum 24 Solera is an ultra-premium sipping rum inspired by Ernest Hemingway and his adventurous spirit. It is crafted as a blend of up to nine different rums sourced from the Caribbean, Central America, and the United States, with some aged up to 24 years. The rum undergoes a solera blending process and is finished in a combination of American Oak bourbon barrels, Port wine casks, and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Rich aromas of vanilla, dried fruit, caramel, and dark chocolate, accompanied by fine notes of wood and spices. Some detect maple syrup and hints of sherry and port.
• Palate: Full-bodied and complex with notes of honey, candied orange, nutmeg, espresso, and oak spice. A hint of raisins and sweet sherry adds depth.  Some find flavors of maple, dark chocolate, ripe fig, and toasted almond.

Order Processing:
All in-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Special order items or products not currently in stock may require additional processing time. You will be notified via email if any delays are expected with your order.

Adult Signature Requirement:
In compliance with federal law, all shipments containing alcohol require an adult signature (21 years or older) upon delivery. If no eligible person is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will hold the package and attempt delivery on the next business day. A total of three delivery attempts will be made.

Carrier Warehouse Hold:
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be held at the carrier’s warehouse for up to 48 hours. During this time, the recipient is responsible for arranging pickup. If the package is not retrieved within the holding period, it will be returned to us.

Reshipment and Additional Costs:
If a package is returned due to failed delivery attempts or failure to collect the package from the warehouse, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment. Bottles2Gift.com is not responsible for additional shipping fees incurred due to reshipment.

Shipping Restrictions:
Please be aware that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes or any location where alcohol delivery is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local shipping regulations prior to placing an order.

Damaged Shipments:
